Chris + Chynna Wedding- September 2020
Chris + Chynna
When I launched Bies Consulting in 2019 my focus and business plan was all around DISC and career coaching but what I found was people were asking me to plan events (knowing that’s a big part of my background). In 2020, I re-branded and found myself doing events as well as career coaching. Being able to work events through BC and with my partner and husband Mike has brought me so much joy.
I tell you all of this because Chris and Chynna were the reason for the BC re-brand when they hired me to plan and execute their wedding in 2020. I also ended up planning her bridal shower on behalf of her family so I got to really get to know Chris and Chynna. I had about 10 weeks to pull this wedding together in a middle of pandemic and it was a great experience. A reminder I can do anything with the right resources and people! They are the loveliest couple and I just loved getting to know and create something special for them.
What did I love?
The hair and makeup! Hannah is truly an artist! She even did my hair and makeup for my wedding.
South Fork created custom dinner boxes (it was the middle of a pandemic) and the food was delicious, creative and just perfect. I loved the mason jar salads. They are a great catering option for more upscale, unique menus.
The weather! September in Tennessee can be iffy. It could be 90 or 50 degrees and we got lucky that is was somewhere in between making for a beautiful fall day. This private residence has a beautiful outdoor fireplace that was the center of the night!
This was a Tuesday wedding! I loved that. The bride works in healthcare and the groom in music and Tuesday is their day off together. I think everyone needs a little Tuesday evening fun every once in awhile.
