Robert + Ron Wedding

There was so much love and good energy surrounding this wedding- nothing….not even a random pop up storm was going to ruin this night! I am lucky to be friends with one of the grooms, Robert. I met Robert when we worked together at Opryland, he was a Pastry Chef and I worked in the catering department. We were quick friends with similar sarcastic personalities. He left Opryland to work in Healthcare and two years later I also left to work for the same Healthcare company. He’s the most fun lunch buddy and has been my IT support for years. When he needed a day of wedding planner I was so happy to jump in! I finally got to meet Ron who is just as much fun and lovely as Robert. This wedding was a pure celebration with so much love between the grooms and their friends and family. It was the BEST night!

What did I love?

I mean literally every single guest!! There was this group of friends (6 people) that showed up early to help move tables, throw linens and clean up this outdoor space. This was unique space- gravel and partially outside and the venue is fairly new to events so it was left to us to transform it. It was 90 degrees and this friend group worked so hard- now those are real friends.

There was an unexpected storm and that delayed the ceremony but the grooms were so easy going about it and they went with the flow! We ended up having dinner first and then the ceremony and I think because the grooms were so great about it, that vibe spread and everyone was great.

This was my first time working with Clean Plate Club and they were awesome- the staff and the food were fantastic! I can’t wait to work with them again.

The napkin toss (check out my Instagram for a video)! This was the ultimate joyful moment when all the guests threw multi-colored napkins in the air at the end of the ceremony to celebrate. Did I mention I loved the guests, they all even picked up their napkins!

The candles….never underestimate the beauty of some simple candles. The florist and friend Phillip put different size glass votives with white candles all over and wow they were beautiful!

An outfit change for one of the grooms mid-reception! Love!!!
